How accurate is the card scanning? +
On clean printed cards, the extraction is reliable for name, company, phone, and email — the four fields most people care about. Handwriting, foil printing, and bilingual cards work but may need a tap to correct. You can edit any field before saving, and your edits never go back to the AI.
What can I do for free? +
You get five scans on the free tier with no credit card required. After that, Pro is $7.99 per month or $79 per year (saves about 18%). Pro removes ads, unlocks unlimited scans, adds full-text search and custom categories, and turns on every CRM integration.
How do I cancel my subscription? +
On iOS: Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Cardfolio → Cancel. On Android: Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Cardfolio. On the web (if you subscribed through Stripe): email us and we’ll send you a cancellation link. You keep Pro access until the end of the billing period.
Do you offer refunds? +
Apple and Google handle App Store / Play Store refunds directly — contact them within 14 days. For web subscriptions purchased through Stripe, email us within 14 days and we’ll refund a full month or full year if the app didn’t work for you.
Which CRMs do you support? +
Hubspot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, Microsoft Outlook, Google Contacts, and your phone’s native contacts app. If yours isn’t on the list, email us — we add new CRMs based on user demand.
Where are my cards stored? +
Your extracted contacts live on our servers (encrypted in transit, encrypted at rest) so you can access them across devices. The card images themselves are processed by our OCR pipeline and then removed shortly after. We never use your cards to train AI. Full details in our privacy policy.
Does it work offline? +
Scanning needs a connection (the OCR runs on a vision model in the cloud). Once cards are saved, browsing, searching, and editing the ledger works offline. CRM sync queues up and pushes the next time you’re online.
How do I delete my account and data? +
Open the app → Profile → Settings → Delete account. Everything wipes within 30 days. You can also email support@usecardfolio.com and we’ll do it for you.
I lost access to my email. Can you help? +
Yes — email us from any address with as much detail as you can give us (approximate sign-up date, last device, CRM you had connected) and we’ll help recover the account after verifying identity.
Is there a team or business plan? +
Not yet. We’re focused on the individual Pro experience first. If you want team seats or invoicing, email us — we keep a waitlist and reach out when it’s ready.
